Being a financial member of the Club has benefits.   You are encouraged to actively participate in Club ride and social activities not only as participants but in suggesting future rides and events.  You may even choose to organise and lead an event, with or without the support and mentoring of other Club members.

Your Club uses Wild Apricot as the membership software platform and allows online joining and renewal, financial management and creating events for the What's On page.  Members are identified by unique email addresses that allows for personalised and group emails, for example mass notification of upcoming rides and individual updates to rides where members have registered.

We welcome joint members, however only the primary or first member will get Club emails.  If you want individual emails, then a second unique email address is required.

Members are encouraged to pre-register for events and whilst non-binding help the organiser planning the event.  What's more updates to an event can be emailed directly to those registered for an event.

Social media.  The Club has a Facebook Group Page (restricted to members or Administrator approved ) and Twitter, both in their infancy.

The Club's social media presence is not actively monitored.  Remember you are a member of an exclusive group and Official BMW Club.  Only post material that is supportive of the Club's objectives, related to Club activities or motorcycling; non offensive or prejudicial to individuals, companies and brands.

A members recommendation of a product is not an endorsement of the Club neither is any technical information, after market or non-BMW approved practice.

Report offensive posts to web@bmwmccact.org.au.  Offensive posts will be removed without recourse, with members reminded of their responsibilities and repeat offenders having their access restricted or denied.
